Notes for: Sarah E. Bodine

I have not seen any info that, without a doubt, says that this Sarah E. Bodine, daughter of Peter and Sabillah Bodine, was the wife of Jacob Warman, but the circumstancial evidence is very heavy and piling up. The most important piece of evidence is that her birth date from family records matches exactly the birth date we can figure from her tombstone. I doubt that she would not be his wife. That said, I will list her tentatively as Jacob Warman's wife. More evidence is needed, though, to definitely connect her to Peter Bodine.

I later found an article in the Pennsylvania Genealogical Magazine (v. 13, nos. 2-3) which gave her birth and death dates from the cemetery info Sandy Ridge. It said she was the daughter of Peter Bodine and the wife of Jacob Warman.

Here are some of the messages I've received:

Dear Dave,

You appear on the Genealogy.com Message Board for "Bodine's" to be very knowledgeable on this family line in NJ. I just discovered that a Sarah Bodine, b. abt 1791, NJ, married a Jacob Warman, b. abt 1788, NJ. They were married in 1823 in Hunterdon Co., NJ. He was a farmer per the 1850 census (see attached census record). I'm search for the parents of Jacob Warman and Sarah Bodine. Do you have them in your Bodine database?

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.
