In 1880, George and Harriet Bodine lived in Mount Morris, Livingston County, New York. In 1900, George Bodine, aged 72 and widowed, was living in Mount Morris, Livingston County with four of his grandchildren, Ella, Frederick, Carl and Hattie Bodine. In 1910, George Bodine, aged 83, was still living in Mount Morris with several of his grandchildren.

Mount Morris, July 8---The funeral of George Bodine, aged 87 years, whose death occurred in his home on the Sonyea-Mount Morris state road on Tuesday, was held from his late home this afternoon. Rev. Joseph Sumter, pastor of the Presbyterian church of this village, officiated and interment was made in the Bagote road cemetery. Mr. Bodine leaves one son, Edward Bodine, and a number of grandchildren. He was one of the oldest residents of the town. His parents were among the pioneer settlers of this county, and he was the last of this well known family.
