William L. Bodine AND Emily L. Keefe were married 22 July 1886 in Manhattan.
In 1880, William Bodine and his brother Edmund, both single, lived in Manhattan, employed as office clerks. In 1900, William Bodine lived with his family in Manhattan, New York City employed as a freight agent. He reported that in 14 years of marriage, his wife Emily had borne 3 children, all then living. In 1910, the couple still lived in Manhattan, but William now was an agent for the sale of sewing machines. The couples only 3 children still lived with them. In 1930, William and Emily Bodine lived in Rahway, Union County, New Jersey. William, reporting his age as 70, stated he was employed as a clerk for a furniture business.

Rahway, N. J., Feb. 7.---William L. Bodine, 60, of 32 Bond st., Rahway, formerly a councilman here, died of heart disease on a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Linden. He was an employe of the Singer Manufacturing Co. in Elizabeth and had left home for his office when he was stricken.
