Harry H. Glascock, one of Veedersburg community's most prominent citizens and a life resident of this section died Friday afternoon at 4:30 at his country home south of Veedersburg at the age of 90. A successful farmer and business man and member of a pioneer Indiana family, Mr. Glascock had been in failing health for several months. He was born Sept 26, 1862, on a farm near Veedersburg, the son of Thoms and Sarah Booe Glascock. He was married June 6, 1894 to Jennie Campbell Bodine. She survives. Also surviving is the only daughter, Mrs. Wayne Cory. A son, Thomas Zekiel Glascock died at the age of 11 in 1912. Mr. Glascock was active in many civic and church affairs during his life and befriended many young folks with financial aid. He was active in the Veedersburg Christian Church and was a honorary life time member of the Church board. He was also interested in politics and national affairs and was a supporter of the Democratic party and worthwhile chairities. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Veedersburg Christian Church with Joseph C. Todd, former dean of Indiana Bible College and life time friend officiating. Assisting at the service was Richard Owen, inister of the Veedersburg Christian Church. Burial was in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery which he helped to establish with Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Charge.

Mrs. Jennie Glascock, one of Fountain County's well known and highly regarded ladies, died at 1 a.m. Sunday morning at her "Campbelland" farm home south of Veedersburg after being in failing health many months. She was a life resident of Fountain County, born June 24, 1868 the daughter of James and Mary Campbell Bodine in Wabash Township. She was married June 6, 1894 to Harry Glascock, who preceded her in death Dec 26, 1952. Mrs. Glascock was active in many civic organizations during her career and was encouraging to many young people whom she befriended. She was a member and past president of Friday Study Club, DAR and Federated Clubs of Fountain County. SHe was a member of the Veedersburg Christian Church and was also active in Church movements until ill health forced her retirement. Surviving is the only daughter, Mrs. Kathryn Cory, of Veedersburg. shew as preceded in death by a son Thomas Zekiel in 1912 and the husband last year. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the family home with Dr. JC Todd of Bloomington officiating. Burial in Kingman Cemeterey with Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in charge.
