Here is a message from the Burdine Rootsweb Mailing List. I'm not sure it has to do with this Nancy Bodine, but it is possible. Maybe the Nancy Burdine Anderson mentioned below is a relative of Nancy Berdine / Bodine, daughter of John and Penelope Bodine. That is just a guess.

I'm looking for parents of Nancy Burdine Anderson who m. Grief Randolph in Rutherford Co. Tn. 31 Oct 1829; was in Wilson Co. Tn. cens 1830, 40, & 50. Left Wilson ca. 1859 for Grayson Co. Tx. The 1860 Sherman Co. census shows Grief and Mary living in a boarding house owned by N. Bird Anderson (real name Nathaniel Burdine Anderson). Also living in same boarding house was Thomas Whittington Randolph, age 24, son of Grief and Nancy. The census lists Grief as b. NC and Nancy SC. Does anyone have any info on these people?
