ALVIN - Wilma L. Bodine, 88, of Danville, formerly of rural Alvin, died at 4:58 a.m. Tuesday (June 10, 2003) at Colonial Manor Nursing Home, Danville. Funeral services will at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Bismarck United Methodist Church, 201 S. Chicago St., Bismarck. The Rev. Anne Ferguson will officiate. Burial will be in Gundy Cemetery, west of Bismarck. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Morrison Funeral Home, 101 Maiden Lane, Bismarck. Mrs. Bodine was born Jan. 19, 1915, in Blount Township, a daughter of James M. and Viola V. Allison Brown. She married Dean Bodine on Feb. 20, 1935. He died May 21, 1986. Survivors include three sons, Robert Bodine and Laurel Bodine, both of Alvin, and Byron Bodine of Bismarck; a sister, Clarice Pundt of California; a brother, Paul Brown of Alvin; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Bodine graduated from Bismarck High School and was a homemaker. She was a seamstress and lived all her life in the Bismarck-Alvin area. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and cooking. Memorials may be made to Bismarck United Methodist Church.
