Notes for: George W. Franklin Bodine
George fought in the Civil War and was a member of the 55th Illinois Infantry. Catherine Horman says he never married.

George Bodine enlisted as a Private in Company C, 55th Illinois Infantry (USA) on 6 Jan 1864. He died in Nashville from measles and was buried in Nashville National Cemetery. His name was included on the large Bodine grave marker of his parents in Oakland Cemetery, Durand, Winnebago County, Illinois.
