Notes for: James Seward Bodine
The booklet by E. P. Bodine gives the name as J. Seward Bodine and says that he died without leaving descendants. I did have his name as just Seward Bodine.
From Ronny Bodine:
Obituary, The Geneva Courier (Geneva, N.Y.) of 19 June 1901.
James Seward Bodine, a highly respected young man of Lodi died at the home of his father last Friday at noon, of consumption. Mr. Bodine was a graduate of the Ovid High school. He spent the past winter in Arizona in hopes of regaining his health but returned home about five weeks ago in very poor health and failed rapidly. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, Rev. C. F. Porter officiating. Interment in Union cemetery in this village.
There is a long obituary for James Seward Bodine in the Ovid NY Gazzette and Independent.
