Notes for: Ora Olous Bodine

I wonder if this is really John and Elizabeth's daughter. She was born ten years after Simon and her mother would have been 46 years old. There is more on Ora and Enos' descendants in the Fox book. Ronny later cleared up all this with the information below.

Ora Brenneman, widow of the deceased, petitioned the Wayne County court on 22 June 1905 to administer the estate of her late husband who died 5 May 1905.

Mrs. Ora Olous Brenneman, 81, widow of Enos Brenneman, died last night at the home of her son, Merle Brenneman, 152 West Dickson Ave., Mrs. Brenneman had been ill three days. She was born Aug. 19, 1869 in Wayne county, near Smithville, and lived in that vicinity until three years ago when she came to Mansfield with her son. Mrs. Brenneman was a member of the United Presbyterian church at Dalton, O. Besides her son, she is survived by a granddaughter, Mrs. Mary Coldwell of Akron; a grandson, Wilbur Brenneman of Barberton; also a great granddaughter, Debra Coldwell of Akron; also several nieces. Mrs. Brenneman was the last of a family of seven children. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. by Rev. Carveth P. Mitchell, pastor of the First Lutheran church. Burial will be in Crown Hill cemetery at Orrville.
