1910 Madison Co., MS: Alva O. HOLLINGSBEE 34 IL blacksmith, Eva B. 33 IL wife, Ferna M. 9 IL dau, Alvia B. 6 MS son, Everett B. 38 IL brother grocery merchant. Married 12 years, 2 children born/2 living.

Eva B. Hollinsbe died 1917 in Madison County.
The obituary of her father in The Quincy (IL) Whig of Wed., 24 Jan 1917 notes: "His youngest daughter, Mrs. A. O. Hollensbe, died in Canton, Miss. one week ago. Mr. Bodine had been to visit his daughter in the south recently and returned last Christmas."
On 12 Sept 1918, Alvia Orion Hollinsbe registered for the World War I Draft in Canton, Mississippi. He reported he was born 7 Oct 1875, was a self-employed farmer and merchant and named E. B. Hollingsbe as his next of kin. [Note: He signed his name Hollensbe.]
1930 Madison Co., MS: Alvia O. HOLLENSBE 54 IL farmer widowed.

Unable to locate Alvia in 1940. Find A Grave lists him as buried in Canton City Cemetery and having died 17 Feb 1958, but family records citing the family bible note he died 20 June 1956 in Canton. Minimal newspaper coverage for this time period.
