Notes for: Luke William Bodine
Since it does appear this child could have been born before the June 1860 Census, then he must be a twin with one of the sisters born early in the 1860s.
A William born in 1858 was a gristmill worker in Moscow, Minnesota on June 22, 1880.
A William Bodine does not appear to be mentioned in the 1860 Census of Austin, Mower Co., MN with this family.
There is also a Luck Ignatius Bodine some online sources associate with this family. Maybe he is this Luke William Bodine.
From Ronny Bodine:
The May 1865 Minnesota State Census includes a son, Luke, living with his parents. Ages were not required reporting in this census and as he is not included in the Federal 1860 census he would have been born after June 1860. He is not named in the 1870 Minnesota census, but a son, William, is named for the first time and aged 12 years. He is believed to be the same as Luke as he cannot otherwise be reconciled with the children reported in these censuses. Nothing further is known of either Luke or William.
