Lawrence Bodine of Simmons, Texas County AND Miss Ruth Baldry of Simmons were married 12 July 1910 at Simmons by J. J. Carty, M. E. Church South.

On 12 Sept 1918, Lawrence Bodine registered for the World War 1 draft in White Pine County, Nevada. He reported he had been born 26 Oct 1880, worked as a carpenter and that Ruth Bodine was his next of kin. In 1920, he lived in Tiger, Pend Oreille County, Washington and 1930 in Anaheim, Orange County, California working as a house carpenter. Agnes (Baldrey) Bodine was the daughter of Thomas Marshall and Frances Jane (Preston) Baldrey.
