Hi Dave,
Thank you very much for your wonderful Bodine Web information. I have not done Web correspondence so please bear with me. I have been searching Jacob Snider family history for a long time. Jane Bodine's parents were Francis Bodine and Hannah (Millard) Miller, correct? My gg grandfather, Jacob Snider, Sr. born 1791, New York, married Jane Bodine - Date, abt. 1820, I think. According to our Bible record they had 2 children who died before 1850 Census record showing 6 children -- also Stephen Bodine!! WOW. Jacob Snider, Jr. (youngest of 8 known ch.) born July 30, 1841, Sycamore Twp. Hamilton Co., Ohio. Married Emma Hopkinson Dec. 19, 1867, Ohio.
I would appreciate documented date and place of Jane & Jacob's marriage. I wonder if these families traveled together from NY to OH...

I've finally found the papers I was looking for -- in my piles of stuff.
I know I am old, but I hope not senile. You may as well know:
Juanita Higgason Young, b. 30 April 1933.
Married 29 Sept. 1956 Melvin L. Young
3 Children
Moved to Florida 1973
9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren
So, before it's too late, I hope to establish the Snider family. I have copies of "Family Records" from the Snider Family Bible.
Marriage page had only:
- Jacob Snider (Sr.) was married December 7th 1820.
Births page:
- Jacob Snider was borne February the 7th In the year of our Lorde one thousand Seven hundred & Ninety one.
- Jane Snider was borne May the 7th In the year of our Lorde 1800.
- Francis Harvey Snider Was Borne Aprile the 15th In the year of our Lord 1822.
- Mary Ann Snider Was Borne April the 14th In the year of our Lorde 1824.
- Daniel Snider was Borne June the 2nd In the year of our Lorde 1826.
- Alforde [Alfred] Snider was Borne November the 8th In the year of our Lorde 1828.
- Elize Catherine Snider Was Borne October the 18th In the yeare of oure Lorde 1830.
- John Snider was Borne March the 20 In the year of our Lorde 1834.
- Martha Jane Snider Was Borne Aprile the 22 In the year of our Lorde 1836.
- Jacob Snider was Born July the 30th In the year of our Lord 1841.
Deaths page:
- Francis Harvey Snider died July 11th 1823.
- Jacob Snider Departed this life Dec. 4th 1872. Aged 81 years 8 months and 27 days.
- Daniel Snider died June 1872.
- Jane Snider, wife of Jacob Snider died Dec. 7, 1876.
- Martha J. Snider died December 12, 1882.
- John Snider died ( --?) January 18th 1905.
- Alfred Snider died March 12 1909.
- Eliza C. Snider Ross Packer deduct. 19th, 1909.
- Jacob Snider died Thurs. 3 P.M. July 28, 1921.
- Emma C Hopkinson, wife of Jacob Snider, died Sunday 10-15 A.M. December 24th, 1916.
Also:
- Francis Bodine was borne July 5th 1764 and died May 21st 1849, aged 84 years, 10 months and 16 days.
- Hannah Bodine was borne November 13th 1770 and died October 10th 1838, aged 67 years 10 months and 27 days.
I have copied and spelled this as closely as I could read these hand written records.
My friend from Cincinnati, OH, graciously took snapshot pictures of tombstones for me in Hopewell Cemetery, Ohio.
I have notice showing

- Jacob Snider: Row 1, Grave 2.
- Martha Jane: Row 1, Grave 3
- and others.
