Notes for: David R. Bodine

There is a David Bodine mentioned in the 1910 Census Index of Pennsylvania. He is living in Bucks County. He was 71 and had been born in Pennsylvania. He appears to be living with his brother-in-law, a William S. Bond. His sister must be Elizabeth, William's wife. She was 60 and born in Pennsylvania. This David did have a sister named Elizabeth.

Hi Dave -

Changed email from BPDiversion at WebTV.net to BPDiversion at aol.com for the time being.

RE: David R. Bodine b. Aug 22 1838 (Death notice in newspaper shows his age on Sep 27 1917 as 79 which would make 1838 correct.)

Death Certificate shows his birth date as Aug. 22 1837 filled out by his sister, Ellen Rebecca. The death certificate confirms other information including he died single.
Father information was the reason for getting David's death certificate. - shows John Bodine - PA.

Elizabeth K. Bodine - Death Certificate as filled out by her widow confirms our information and added her husband's name - William Bond. They lived in Furlong, Bucks, PA. She is buried in Buckingham on Dec 22. Her father was McClure Bodine.

Martha Kimble Bodine is buried in Buckingham as well.

At the moment I would believe the Buckingham burials are probably Buckingham Friends although that remains to be checked. Maybe they have information on John McClure re - birth place - which I need to work on. Bucks County does not have death certificates for 1881.
