Notes for: John Burdine / Bodine
I was thinking this could be the John Bodine who appears in the 1820 Census of Richmond County, New York on p. 4, L. 23 in Castleton. He had three males under 10, two males 10-15, one 18-25, and one 25-44. There was also one female under 10, one 10-15, one 16-18, and one 18-25. However, by his will, it would appear that this John didn't have any children. Sponsors at his baptism were James and Catherine Colon and John Dorset. His death record says he was sixty years old.

His will of 24 Oct 1857, in which he described himself as a resident of New York City, was submitted for probate on 11 May 1859 and was filed in Richmond County, New York on 30 June 1859.
