Notes for: Anna ("Fannie") B. Bodine

I did have her name as Frances/Fanny/Fannie Bodine. That comes from the H. Keith Bodine paper. RB found her name as Anna Bodine. His suggestion that maybe she was named Anna Francis Bodine might be the solution to this problem. And H. Keith Bodine had her birth date as Feb. 27, 1867. I will go with the source RB gives below for Feb. 6, 1867.

She went to Italy with her second husband, but became dissatisfied and returned to America alone. She became despondent and soon after died.

Here is her picture from the passport application Ronny mentions below:

Fannie B. (Bodine) Palombo

From Ronny Bodine:

George and Anna Johnson were living 1900 in Camden, Camden County. George Johnson was noted as an invalid and the couple had no children. In 1920, Luigi and Fannie Palombo lived in Atlantic City, Atlantic County, where Luigi worked as a laborer. Luigi Palombo came to the United States in 1890 and was naturalized 26 July 1910. He returned to Italy for health reasons in 1920. (Passport Applications, 1906-1925, no. 174187). On 7 Jan 1924, Fannie Palombo, nee Bodine, daughter of Alfred Bodine and sister of Vincent Bodine, applied for a passport at Naples, Italy to return to the United States. She stated she had lived in Naples from June 1920 to the present, having traveled there to be with her sick husband. Since he had recovered she wished to return to the United States. Her application was approved 2 Feb 1924. (Passport Applications, 1906-1925, no. 368798)
