Notes for: Lewis G. Bodine
His age of "1 year and six months" on the 1875 Census of Schuyler Co., NY (Tyrone) should be checked. This sounds suspicious to me. I didn't know they gave in ages in increments like that on the census.
From Ronny Bodine:
From The Watkins (NY) Express of 21 Dec 1899:
The marriage of Lewis Bodine and Miss Minnie Peck of Wayne occured on the evening of Dec 14th.
Lewis Bodine lived June 1900 in Tyrone, Schuyler County, New York engaged in farming and April 1910 in Starkey, Yates County, New York working as a traveling salesman for a grocery house. He lived with his wife and mother from 1900 on and in 1910 reported that in 10 years of marriage his wife had borne no children. In April 1930, Lewis and Minnie Bodine still lived in Starkey. The couple had no children as none appear with them in any census.
