Alice Bodine, age 22 and single, was living with her mother in Philadelphia in 1880. On 8 Nov 1909, Miss Alice Bodine of Bridgeton, New Jersey applied for a U.S. passport. She noted her occupation as a "lady of leisure." (Passport Applications, 1906-1925, no. 16098) In April 1910, Alice Bodine, her age given as 56, and single, lived in Bridgton, Cumberland County.

Miss Alice Bodine, sister of Samuel T. Bodine, vice president of the United Gas Improvement Company and chairman of the board of directors of the Philadelphia Electric Company, died yesterday at the home of her brother, "Stoneleigh," Villanova. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at her brother's home. Interment will be private.
