Notes for: Maria (Mary) Librand Mott

The family Bible says she was 90 at the time of her death. The place is not given, but everyone else in the family seems to have died in Hilldrest, NJ (now Trenton).

The following comes from Ronny Bodine and is about Seth Lucas, the husband of Jesse Bodine's sister Rebecca Bodine:

Obituary, the Trenton Evening Times (Trenton, NJ) of 30 July 1913.
Seth Lucas, Trenton's pioneer expressman, died yesterday at the age of 93 years. For many years he conducted an express business about the centre of the city. During recent years Mr. Lucas had lived with his sister, Mrs. Maria L. Bodine, at 1118 Stuyvesant Avenue. He had been in failing health for some time and had been removed to Mercer Hospital, where he died. Besides Mrs. Bodine, he is survived by his son, Robert G. Lucas, who resides in Philadelphia, and two grandsons, Elmer and Robert Lucas, also of Philadelphia. The funeral will be conducted from the parlors of Poulson & Coleman, 18 South Warren Street, tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock. Interment will be in Mercer Cemetery.
