I see on this genealogy page a Margaret Hardy Bodine.
I am a descendant of John Hardy, who was born July 15, 1797, in or around Philadelphia. My information says that his parents (Neal and Hannah Hardy) had four children: John, Mary Hardy Hensman, Margaret Hardy Bodine, and Neal. In Find-a-Grave, Neal is here .
The information I've received give the impression that Neal was the youngest, and he was born on November 26, 1803. According to this information, Neal Hardy (the father) died in 1803 or 1804.
You say that “your” Margret was born “about 1804.” I'm wondering if it could be the same one, though likely she was born a few years before 1804.
This bit of information further suggests it's the same: One of the daughters of Neal (the Neal born in 1803) was named Margaret Bodine Hardy. She was born in 1841 and died in 1854. Why else would they give her a middle name of Bodine, unless they were naming her after an aunt?
I could share a little bit more information about the Hardy family if it is of interest to you.
Yours,
Steven Hardy

Thanks! I look forward to hearing from you.
Incidentally, information from a letter from Neal (born 1803) states that he remembers standing at his mother's grave when he was 7 years old-so in late 1810 or in 1811.
