Notes for: Theodore Bodine

The marriage of Theodore Bodine and Rebecca E. Joyce was reported in the Burlington Gazette and New Jersey Agric Register of 25 March 1842. Theodore Bodine died a resident of Vincentown, Southampton Township, Burlington County. His father, Daniel Bodine, was administrator of his estate and conducted an inventory on 18 Nov 1846, finding its value to be $203.15 (Burlington Co. Inventories, E: 323). Caleb Antrim purchased a 14 1/2 foot lot for $751.50 at the property sale on 29 May 1847. On 16 Feb 1848, Daniel Bodine reported the estate to be insolvent (Burlington Co. Miscellaneous Old Records, File B-7). See his obituary in the Burlington "Gazette" of 13 Nov 1846. Rebecca Bodine was living 1880 in the home of her daughter and son-in-law, James and Mary Bodine, in Philadelphia.
