Notes for: Margaret "Maggie" Eleanor Bodine

Maggie's cause of death is listed as "myocarditis." According to her great neice, Ruth Megby Feinberg, she died of cancer and had a very yellowish cast to her skin before she died.

Maggie was known to be living in at 1870 Census of Loudoun County, Virginia, Family 131/145 with mother and sister Rosanah in grandparents' home after the death of her father.

Maggie married Jim Moran December 24, 1878.

In the 1910 census, Maggie stated she had borne six children, three of whom were still alive. In addition to her son, Will, there were two other children who died.

I have another Margaret Bodine also married to a James Moran on December 24, 1878. This Margaret would seem the better candidate, but I'm not sure which one really married James Moran.

From Ronny Bodine:

The James and Margaret Moran lived all of their lives in Loudoun County. In 1880, James worked as a farmer, and the Moran family was living next door to Rosanah Bodine, Margaret's sister, in 1910 in as a stone mason at which time the census reported that Margaret had borne six children of whom only three were still living, in 1920, as residents of the village of Ashburn, James operated a livery stable and in 1930 James was a paint salesman.
