Notes for: Anna (Annie) Laura Bodine

Familysearch.com had a Laura Bodine born of these parents in 1868, but not a Caroline. Jesse Bodine's obit mentions a sister surviving him named Mrs. Annie Jones. I wonder if that is this Caroline/Laura A. Bodine. We later switched this daughter's name from Caroline/Laura A. Bodine to Annie Laura Bodine based on more information. See below.

From Ronny Bodine:

She was Laura Bodine, age 2 in July 1870 and Caroline A. Bodine, age 12 in July 1880, living with her parents in Fannin County, Texas. In June 1900, Fieldton and Annie Sevier lived in Kaufman County, Texas engaged in farming. Fielton reported they had been married 12 years and Annie had borne one child, but it was not living. In April 1910, Annie Sevier, aged 40 and widowed, lived with her children Jessie 8 and Lonnie 5 in Fannin County next door to her brother George Bodine. In Jan 1920, William and Annie Jones lived in Fannin County, Texas. The family included 2 children, Glennie Sevier 17 and Connie Sevier 14, stepchildren of William Jones. Her Texas death certificate, no. 1947-6656, named her Annie L. Jones, widow, daughter of James Bodine. She died from paralysis and was buried in Brown Cemetery, Bonham.
