Dr. William T. Echols AND Mary E. Bodine were married 7 Nov 1878.
William and Mary Echols and their daughter Cora, were living 1880 in the home of Mary's parents in Fannin County. William's occupation was that of a physician. In 1900, the Echols family was living in Bonham, Fannin County, where William worked as a tax collector. Mary stated she had borne 4 children, but only 2 were then alive. By 1910, the family was in Jefferson County, Illinois. Mary said of her 5 children, 2 were then living. In April 1930, the family lived in Hugo, Choctaw County, Oklahoma where William, aged 83, was engaged as a Justice of the Peace. In April 1940, Mary Echols was widowed, living in Hugo. Mary Echols was named as a survivor of her brother Jesse Bodine in his newspaper obituary of 25 Jan 1946.
Children: Cora (1880), Laura (Nov 1884), Neil (Dec 1899), Max (11 Oct 1901).
