There is a Stephen A. Bodine who married a Malissa D. Bryant in Jefferson Co., IL on March 13, 1878. I got the "D" initial from FamilySearch.com. RB had the initial as "A." I'll go with that.

Funeral services for S. A. Bodine were held Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock in the Free Will Baptist church with Rev. R. M. Shook officiating. Burial was in Niangua cemetery. Stevens A. Bodine was born November 28, 1856; died June 5, 1932, at the age of 75 years, 6 months and 7 days. At the age of 22 he was united in marriage to Malissa Bryant of Illinois. To this union were born four children, two dying in infancy. He leaves to mourn his death his wife, two sons, Robert of Niangua, and Otis of Tulsa, Oklahoma, two grandchildren, Paul and Myrtle Bodine, and a host of friends. In 1910 the family moved to Forman, Arkansas, living there two years, then moved to Webster county, Mo., and lived near Niangua the remainder of his life. He was a member of the Niangua Christian church.
The death of Stephen Bodine was not recorded by the State of Missouri.

Mrs. Malissia Dorthulia Bodine, 77, died at her home in Niangua yesterday afternoon after an extended illness. She had been a resident of Webster county for the past 25 years. Surviving are two sons, Robert and James, both of Niangua, three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock this afternoon in the Freewill Baptist church at Niangua. Burial will be in Niangua cemetery under the direction of the Rainey funeral home of Marshfield.
