Notes for: Luernay ("Lou") Colvin

Mary Watson says other records give her name as McCalvin or McColvin. I originally had Lurena's parents as Andrew Colvin and Mary Evens / Evans. However, Carol Coggins wrote me and said that her parents were James Hamilton Colvin and Barbara Phipps. A book about the history of Grainger County, Tennessee that she found in a library in St. Louis was her source for these names. I will go with this new info until further evidence comes to light.

In her daughter Elzira's marriage record, Lurena's name is given as Lou Rainey.
