Notes for: Samuel H. Bodine
Some of this information comes from the Charles Fox book on the Joseph Fox family. Samuel was living next to brother James in the 1850 census. He was 23 and Mary 20. A George Gibson age 10, OH and Hester Taylor age 12 were living with them. His death record, found by Dianna Alaniz, says he was 66 at the time of his death and had resided in Copley, Summit County, Ohio. He died of heart failure.

Two updates for you:
Samuel H Bodine, 1827-1888, is buried in Copley Cemetery along with wife Mary Taylor Bodine, 1830-1894.
George F A Tarr, 1823- 29 July 1863 is buried in Section 1, Lot 109, NO marker, buried next to John Moore. Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newark, Licking County, Ohio.
From "History of Licking County, Ohio": "George F. A. Tarr enlisted in company C, Seventy-sixth Ohio volunteer infantry, October 10, 1861, at Newark; died at Black River Bridge, Mississippi, July 28, 1863, aged forty-one years."
An aside about George F A Tarr and Mary Ann Bodine only surviving son, Elmer A Tarr, 12 May 1855-5 June 1926.
In the will of Samuel Bodine, 1787-1872, in part states:
"Third To my grandson Elmore Farr(?) son of my daughter Mary I give and bequeath one hundred dollars to be paid when he comes of age together with the interest thereon after my decease and also the proceeds of a note which I now hold against his father together with the interest accruing thereon. "
"Elmore Farr" (Elmer Tarr) would have been 17 at that time.

Samuel Bodine died 31 July 1888 in Copley, Summit County, age 61. He was a native of Wayne County, Ohio.
Mary Bodine died 18 Jan 1894 in Copley, Summit County, age 64. She was a native of Somersetshire.
