Subject: Gianetta Bodine-Waters-Hirschmiller
Dear Dave,
I ran across your Bodine Family tree tonight in my own search to piece together a branch of my own tree. I have a Gianetta Bodine (who I believe to be the Jeannetta Bodine daughter of Thisby Ann and Allen Bodine of Indiana from your tree). I have a marked picture of Gianetta that belonged to my great-grandmother (who died in 1930) I have census records of Gianetta living with her mother Tisby A. Bodine and a grandson Wendell Hamilton in 1920 in Newtown, Livingston, Illinois and then in 1930 in Clinton, DeKalb, Illinois with her daughter Estella Hamilton (age 45 born in Ohio) Ronald (23), Wendell (22), Ruth (18) and Virgil (11) Hamilton and a sister listed as Ella Van Alstine (could this be Epha?). There is a marriage record in Allen County, Indiana for Gianetta Bodine and Christopher H. Waters (married September 27, 1883). I don't know what happened to Mr. Waters but Gianetta at some point married into my line of Hirschmillers, who at the time resided in the Carroll County, Illinois region, (except for my branch which removed to Nebraska in the 1880's). I suspect she married the youngest son Adam Hirschmiller, who I have had no luck tracing whatsoever at this point (except for mention on census records when he was living with his parents) we believe him to have died at a young age but he would have been of similar age to Gianetta. However she could have married one of the Hirschmillers from Ohio or Maryland as well.

Christopher C. Waters AND Gianetta Bodine were married 27 Sept 1883 by J. H. Cruse.
Gianetta Waters, widow, lived June 1900 in Santa Monica, Los Angeles County, California with her 15-year old daughter, Estella. She reported having borne one child and gave her occupation as "ministry." In April 1910 she lived in Hillsdale, Hillsdale County, Michigan with her 2nd husband G. P. Hirschmiller, to whom she had been married 2 years. In Jan 1920, Gianetta Hirschmiller lived in Newtown, Livingston County, Illinois. Her household included her 84-year old widowed mother Tisby Bodine. In April 1930 she lived in Clinton, DeKalb County, Illinois.
Burials in Old Leo Cemetery, Leo-Cedarville, Allen County, Indiana.

George Peter Hirschmiller, son of John Hirschmiller & Margaret Nicklas, husband of Gianetta Hirschmiller, was born 27 July 1857 in Hagerstown, Maryland, died 15 March 1925 in Mt. Carroll, Carroll County, aged 73 and was buried there inOuter Hill Cemetery.
Gianeta Hirschmiller died 19 June 1949 in DeKalb County.
Children: Estella (Aug 1884).
