Eccelie [sic] L. (Bodine) Fitzgerald, 76, of 206 Orchard Ave., died Saturday in Leila Hospital. She was born in Manton and moved to Battle Creek with her husband from Spring Arbor. She was a teacher in the Vandercook Elementary School for many years. Surviving are her husband, Orville Fitzgerald; a daughter, Carol Small of Cadillac; a son, Gordon Fitzgerald of Battle Creek; three grandchildren; a sister, Pauline Bird of Apple Valley, Calif.; and a brother, Ward Bodine of Redlands, Calif. Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Spring Arbor Fredd Methodist Church. Arrangements are by Horne-Vinson Funeral Home in Jackson.
