TURLOCK - Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday in the Allen Mortuary for Claude E. Bodine, 76, who died Monday in a local rest home. Burial will be in Turlock Memorial Park. He was an employee of the Turlock post office for 37 years, starting as a substitute clerk after moving here in 1915. He served as assistant postmaster in 1922. Following his retirement in 1952, he opened the Bodine Print Shop, which he owned and operated until 1962. He leaves a son, Robert Bodine of Turlock; a brother, two grandchildren, and two greatgrandchildren.
