From Ronny Bodine:
The marriage of Francis Bodine and Martha Atkinson was reported in the "New Jersey Mirror" of 25 March 1847. The will of Francis Bodine of Northampton Township, Burlington County was written 18 Feb 1853 and proved 2 March 1853. Therein, he names his wife Martha and children Joseph R. and Sarah. Executors were his wife and friend Ewell Merritt (Burlington Co. Wills, H: 122). In 1850, Francis Bodine reported his occupation as that of a cordwainer. See their obituaries in the "New Jersey Mirror" of 24 Feb 1853 and 23 Jan 1884.
Martha Atkinson was the daughter of Stacy and Keziah Atkinson who were living as next door neighbors to Francis M. and Martha Bodine in 1850 in Burlington County. Stacy Atkinson died about February 1851 and on 5 March 1851 administrators were appointed as Stacy Atkinson died intestate (Burlington Co. Administrations, vol. B, p. 189). In May 1851, a petition for the division of land was filed with the county court and among the heirs was named daughter Martha Bodine, wife of Francis M. Bodine. (Burlington Co. Orphans Court Minutes, vol. 9, p. 473.)
