Notes for: Elizabeth ("Betty") Bodine

Her name is Bettie on her marriage license. Elizabeth is on her tombstone and Betty on the census records of 1880. On June 30, 1993, Eugene Lang came to my home and furnished family information to me.

From Ronny Bodine:

Stephen and Elizabeth Land were buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Marshall County. In 1900-1920, the Land family was living in Marshall County where Steve engaged in farming. Elizabeth stated in 1900 and 1910 that she had borne 4 children of whom 2 were then living.

Elizabeth is recorded as Betty Bodine on her marriage license, but as Elizabeth on her gravestone.

Children: Pearl M. (Sept 1892), Elmer Eugene (Feb 1899).
