Notes for: James W. Green

A graduate of West Point, he served in the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of brigadier general. He had a doctorate from Purdue University and was a professor of electrical engineering at the U.S. Military Academy from 1947 to 1957. After that he taught at the University of Arkansas, where he was named administrative vice president in 1962.
