JULIA ENDRESS 73, died July 1st, 2005, at the Mission Carmichael Convalescent Home, Sacramento, Calif., where she resided for the last 24 years. She lived with multiple sclerosis for 50 years. She was a 1951 graduate of Warren High School and moved to California in 1963. Julia was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence T. and Mary A. Berdine, brothers Charles and Robert and a sister,Mary-Ellen Cameron-Repper. Surviving are her children, Dr. Don-Michael Endress, Mary-Ellen Lang, R.N., and Melanie Lavoie and their families; her brothers, Ray, David, John, Bill and Jerry; and sisters Barbara Graham, Nancy Wineriter, Virginia Sturdevant and their families. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews living in this area. Julia succumbed to the complications of breast cancer. She never gave up her sense of humor and her will to survive. There will be a memorial service at the Mission Carmichael Convalescent Home on July 23rd from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Memorials may be sent to Julia's Guest Book at www.Legacy.com by Aug. 5, 2005.

Donald Merle Endress passed peacefully into the presence of our Lord on August 9, 2006, at 4:15 PM. Born and raised in Warren, Penn., Donald "Mike" was one of five children born to Robert Lee Endress of Huntington, Penn., and Ethel Eva Gidner Endress of Erie, Penn. He was preceded in death by older brother Delyle Endress and is survived by three siblings, Neva Ladner of Warren, Penn., Wilma Kauffman of Alden, NY, and Kathryn Farynowski of Circleville, Ohio. Mike's loss is mourned by his three children, Dr. Don Michael Endress of La Grange, Calif., Mary Ellen Laing, R.N., of Carmichael, Calif., and Melanie Anne Lavoie, a resident of Sacramento, Calif., as well as eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He served his country in the Air Force, post-WWII, and enjoyed flying privately for many years thereafter. He and wife Julia May Berdine moved to California in 1963, at which time he began a career as an electrician. By the 1970s, he had established himself in Sacramento as an electrical contactor and named his business Saturn Electric. He retired to the Monterey Bay Area and until recently resided there with his beloved partner Sheila Zimmerman. A world traveler who enjoyed good food, friends, and conversation, he will be missed by all who have enjoyed the pleasure of knowing him. Donald and Julia's ashes will be interred in Warren County Memorial Park in Warren, Penn.
