From Times-Mirror and Observer (Warren, Pa.) of 1 Sept 1967: Sarah Elizabeth Davis, daughter of P. L. Davis became the bride of Jerry Allison Berdine, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Berdine at Grace Methodist Church.

Sally Berdine. She was born Dec. 19, 1945, in Warren, the daughter of Palmer L. and Phyllis Leuthold Davis Jr. She was a 1963 graduate of Warren High School and Southern Seminary in Buena Vista, Va. She also attended Kent State University, Kent, Ohio, and graduated from State University, San Diego. She was a member of a seven-person test group conducted by Dr. Jonas Salk to study multiple sclerosis. Besides her parents of Warren, she is survived by a son, Matthew Berdine of New York City; and a brother, Richard P. Davis. Entombment will be in Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church Columbarium at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed. Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Erie, Pa., Branch, P.O. Box 8152, Erie, Pa., 16505; or the Friends of the Rouse Home, P.O. Box 207, Youngsville, Pa., 16371.

Jerry A. Berdine, 66, of Cincinnati, Oh., passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2012. Jerry was born October 6, 1946 in Warren, the son of the late Ted and Mary Berdine. Also preceded in death by Sally Davis Berdine, brothers Bob and Charles Berdine and sisters Mary Ellen Rapper and Julia Endress. He was a graduate of Warren High School and Rider College, Houghton, Maine. Jerry was also a Marine Corp. veteran. He resided in Vail, Co. and San Diego, Ca. He was employed as a comptroller and investment realtor. Jerry is survived by a son, Matthew of New York City, brothers Ray, Dave and John of Warren and Bill, Danville, Ky., sisters Barb Graham, Virginia Sturdevant of Warren and Nancy Wineriter, Georgia. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Donations may be sent to the Veterans Association.
