John Spotten, age 85, U.S. Naval veteran of WWII, of Hammond, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2011. Loving husband for 61 years to Lois Spotten (nee Berdine). Beloved father of Jeffrey (Vickie) Spotten, Randy (Kris) Spotten, and Scott (Kathy) Spotten. Proud grandfather of Brett Spotten, DJ Spotten, Christina (Tom) Jewel, and Amanda Boldin. Dearest great- grandfather of Haley Jewel. John was a Life Member of American Legion Post 330 Calumet City. He was a Cubs fan and loved golfing. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. HAMMOND, IN - Lois J. Spotten (nee Berdine), age 90, of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 27, 2019. Loving mother of Jeffrey "Jeff" (Vicki) Spotten, Randall "Randy" (Kris) Spotten and Scott Spotten. Cherished sister of Ronnie (Margene) Berdine.
