I found your family tree on ancestry.com. I am descended from Sarah Mackey Twitty. She was actually the widow of William Twitty and Mackey was her maiden name. William Twitty disappeared from records between 1808 and 1810 and it is believe he was killed by indians or possible died of and illness. Sarah was then unoffically married to a Cherokee Indian. I say unofficially because marriages between whites and indians were not recognized by the American government at that time. They had three daughters, which went by the surname Twitty. James Bodine was Sarah's third husband. I have more information if you would like it.
