James W. Green, of Laurel Co., KY AND Katharine C. Bodine, of Paris, Monroe Co., were married in Paris, 31 Oct 1904 by W. P. Stuart, M.G.

In 1910-1930, James and Katharine Green lived in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas where James worked in 1910 as a traveling salesman and in 1920-1930 as an automobile dealer.

1940 Little Rock, Pulaski Co., AR: Jim W. GREEN 65 KY general agent-life insurance, Katharine B. 56 MO wife, Anna W. 18 AR dau. residence 1 April 1935-Same place.

The 1958 Little Rock City Directory lists Jim W. and Kath. Bodine as residents.

Jim W. Green, 88, of 5420 Country Club, died in a Little Rock hospital today. He was in the automobile business in Little Rock from 1914 to 1923, and owned and operated the Green Chevrolet Co. in Little Rock until 1928. He was a native of Henderson, Ky., and lived here 58 years. He was a member of the Little Rock Consistory, charter member of the Little Rock Lions Club, member of First Presbyterian Church and retired in 1942. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Katharine Bodine Green of Little Rock; four sons, Dr. James W. Green of Fayetteville, T. Bo Green of Spreckles, Calif., Grant Green of Little Rock and Gordon Green of Memphis; three daughters, Mrs. R. G. Beasmore and Mrs. W. G. Williamson, both of Little Rock, and Mrs. Anna G. Thomas of Hopkinsville, Ky.; a sister, Mrs. W. H. Steele of London, Ky., and 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral will be at 12:30 p.m. tomorrow in Griffin-Leggett Chapel by Rev. R. D. Adams. Burial will be in Roselawn. Active pallbearers will be Capt. Grant Green, Larry Green, Mark Williamson, Phillip Cate, Milton Gardner and Ira Stewart.

Funeral for Mrs. Katharine Bodine Green, 84, 510 Brookside Drive, widow of James W. Green Sr., who died Sunday, will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Griffin-Leggett Chapel. Pallbearers will be C. A. Leidy, Sam Southall, Mack Williamson, Milton Gardner, George Wimberly and Tom O'Malley. Burial will be in Roselawn. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She had lived in Little Rock since 1904. Survivors include four sons, Grant Green and Cordon [sic] Green of Little Rock, Dr. James W. Green Jr. of Gayetteville and T. B. Green of Carpinteria, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Robert G. Beasmore and Mrs. W. G. Williamson of Little Rock and Mrs. Anna Thomas of Washington, D.C.; a brother, Col. Nall Bodine of San Antonio, Tex., 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
