Paris--Mrs. Clara Stavely, 76, died at Fulton Saturday night. She had been in impaired health for a number of years. She was the former Miss Clara Bodine, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bodine and a cousin of the late Tom Bodine. Her husband, Harry G. Stavely, was co-editor with Tom Bodine of the Paris Mercury until his death. She was also preceded in death by two sisters. Survivors include one son, Lynn Stavely of Baltimore, Md., one sister, Miss Kitty Green of Little Rock, Ark., one brother, Noll Bodine, retired colonel, San Antonio, Tex., and a niece, Mrs. Virginia Braley of Long Beach, Calif. Mrs. Stavely was a member of the Paris Christian church. Burial will be in Walnut Grove cemetery but funeral arrangements were awaiting the arrival in Paris Monday of her son.
