Notes for: Peter Bodine

There is a Peter Bodine who signed Cornelius Bodine's will (his brother). I think it is probably this Peter Bodine. This was in Sempronius, Cayuga County, New York on November 1, 1821.

Peter Bodine and Susan Erwine joined the Owasco DRC on August 5, 1816. I believe it was this Peter Bodine, and Abraham, his brother, who were on the list of those who helped to build the Owasco Reformed Church in 1811.

At least one of Peter and Susan's children, David Bodine, was buried in the Selover Cemetery in Niles, Cayuga Co., NY.

This family is later found in the 1840 and 1850 (at least) Censuses of Richland Co., Ohio. Joan Best said that a Samuel Case was living next to Peter in the 1840 Census. I mention this since there is a Case-Bodine Bible, but it has Bodines who are descendants of Peter Bodine and Sabillah Ent. Here is the data from the 1850 Census:
