Also, I don't know if I sent you the following gleaned on a trip last year: In the Terre Haute, IN, library there is an extract of records from St. Mary in the Woods Church that lists the following:

Note from Dave: Vernon said it was not clear from the information at the library whether these were actually birth or baptism records. They could be either, but they look more like baptism dates to me. They should not be used as proof of a birth date until the source of these becomes clearer.

James and Ellen Bodine were buried in Fairlawn Catholic Cemetery, Oklahoma City. In 1900, James Bodine lived with his family in Greeley Township, Oklahoma County where he engaged in farming. He reported that in 31 years of marriage his wife had borne 7 children of whom 6 survived and 5 were then living with them. In April 1910, the family was living in Oklahoma City and J. A. Bodine reported he worked as a water well driller and that of their 7 children, 6 were then living. The household included their children Mary 38, Thomas J. 29, James A. 25 and Ellen A. 22.

Obituary, The Oklahoman (Oklahoma City, Okla.) of 28 July 1919.
J. A. Bodine, 76 years old, one of the pioneer residents of Oklahoma county, died at 4:30 o'clock yesterday morning at his home, 3102 South Western avenue, following a brief illness. Death resulted from heart trouble. Bodine came to Oklahoma in the rush of 1889 and took a homestead about four miles southeast of Oklahoma City on April 22 of that year. Oklahoma City was then but a collection of tents and rough shacks. He has resided near and in the city since that time and was widely known amont the earlier residents of the city and county. For a time he was active in county politics. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Bodine, 77 years old, one daughter and four sons, May E. Bodine, George Bodine, Tom Bodine, county clerk, James Bodine and Elmer Bodine, all of Oklahoma City. Two children, W. E. Bodine and Christine Bodine, are deceased. Mr. and Mrs. Bodine celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary on April 22, also the anniversary of his move here. The funeral has been arranged for 10 o'clock Tuesday morning in the Sacred Heart church, Shartel and D avenues. Rev. John Hall will conduct the services.
