Subject: Benjamin Thomas and Margaret Grigsby

I am a descendant of Benjamin Thomas.

I have pretty much complete records from 1803 on forward of every Generation. I am the descendant of Marcus Lafayette Thomas who was one of Benjamin and Margaret's children. He married Catherine Foster-the Fosters came to Ky along with the Thomas's. I also have all the deeds and most marriage certificates of the Thomas' from Mark Thomas down thru the generations.

The Bodine name is one of the spouses of one of the children-I do not have my records here in Petersburg, IN because I stay the week here and go to Ghent, KY on the weekends.

I have never been able to make the connection for Benjamin's grandfather. His father was Benjamin Senior of Prince William's County Virginia who died in 1793.

If you have any information on Benjamin Senior's father I certainly would appreciate a lead. I think it was George who married Mary Lucas but I have no proof.

Any help would certainly appreciated.
