There is much speculation about him. The Mary E shown is thought to be the girl shown in the Hunsaker family on the 1880 census. Since her mother had been married prior to her marriage to Hunsaker, the maiden name of Mary E is not known and it is not known whether or not she may have lived under the name of her father. The marriage here is shown because the person who gave the information on the death certificate of Nancy Caroline Hunsocker was M. J. Tadlock.
