Notes for: Matthew Nathan Page

This family was first located on the Copiah County, Mississippi Census of 1860 and later findings were in Shelby County, Texas on the 1870 and then on the Tarrant County Census of 1880. Matthew's name has been listed as both Matthew and as Nathan. It has been written here as Matthew Nathan without knowledge of this being the correct sequence. It appears that Matthew and Lucy probably were married in South Carolina. The census and tax records of Tarrant and Nacogdoches show he may have returned to Nacogdoches County and died there.
