Hi, I just came across your page on George Housman and have some information on Emeline. She was the older sister of my great great grandfather, Cornelius Cairns Van Pelt.

Emeline was the daughter of John I. Van Pelt and his first wife, Margaret Cairns. Emeline and her daughter are buried next to Margaret.
