Notes for: John J. Saunders

This man lived on property near the headright of John BODINE and a daughter and son of this family married a son and daughter of the BODINE family. The Cemetery that is presently known as the BODINE Cemetery is located on the old SAUNDERS home place and is presently owned by a part of the John Benny BODINE family. Carole Moore told me that his last name was "Saunders" not "Sanders." She said that the whole family had this name. Many Saunders are buried in the cemetery. It is near Chireno, Nacogdoches County, Texas.
