On 16 Oct 1940, Adolph Jerome Bodine of Conshohocken, PA, registered for the World War II Draft and reported he was born 9 Aug 1912 in Tamaqua, PA, worked for The Standard Register Company, and named Mrs. Harriet Strickland Bodine, wife, as his next of kin.
Several issues of the Pottstown (Penn.) Mercury mention Adolph J. Bodine between 21 Aug 1951 13 Feb 1956 and Harriet S. Bodine on 31 July 1952, as residents of Norristown. The Long Island (NY) News of 12 Nov 1954 reported that Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Bodine and sons Adolph Jr. and Richard recently moved to Rockville Centre (Nassau Co., NY) from Norristown, PA.
