I did have his death date as April 24, 1966, but info from Barbara Doty says it is April 4, 1965.

In 1910, Perry Bodine, now widowed, was living with his 4-year old son Willis in Shelby County engaged in farming. In 1930, he worked as a railroad civil engineer in Temple, Bell County. Johnnie (Taylor) Bodine is the daughter of John and Nancy Porter (Winn) Taylor. She was buried in Old Liberty Hill Cemetery, San Augustine County. Perry and Anna Bodine were buried in Bellwood Memorial Park, Temple, Bell County.

TEMPLE (SPL)--Perry Alexander Bodine, 85, of Temple died at 6 a.m. Sunday in a Temple hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today in Pace Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Wilson Keenan will officiate. Burial will be in Bellwood Memorial Park. Mr. Bodine was born in St. Augustine, Texas, but moved to Temple in 1912 where he was employed by the Santa Fe Railroad as a civil engineer. He retired in 1946. Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. J. F. Prater of Livingston and Mrs. Peggy Mathieu of Temple; a son, Dr. Willis Bodine of Austin; two sisters, Mrs. George Mason of Dallas and Mrs. Josie Whitten of St. Augustine; two brothers, Tom Bodine of St. Augustine and Carl Bodine of Fort Worth; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
