Don Harvey Morris, 67, Hays, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at Good Samaritan Society, Hays. He was born May 4, 1950, in Tulsa, Okla., to William and Addie (Fox) Bodine. He was adopted by Boyd and Grace Morris. He married Alberta Potter on July 29, 1988, in Hays. He was a heavy equipment operator working throughout the Midwest, including Max Jantz Excavating, Montezuma, Sporer Land Development, Oakley, and Fleenor Dirt Construction and Hertel Tank Service, both of Hays. Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Justin Morris and wife, Karna; three daughters, Amanda Morris, Tami Sauseda and husband, Joe, and Claudia Parrott; a stepson, Chuck Hindman, Hays; a stepdaughter, Tamie Hindman, Plainville; four sisters, Jane Fortin and husband, John, Denise Buchanan and husband, Rick, Terry Main and husband, Doug, and Kathy Johnson and husband, Billy; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a step-grandchild; his step-mother, Olathe; and a brother-in-law, Larry Walker. He was preceded in death by two sons, Brian and Kelly; his biological parents; his adopted parents; and a sister, Cathy Walker. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brock's-Keithley Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 2509 Vine, Hays, KS 67601; inurnment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Hays. Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel. Memorials are suggested to Good Samaritan Society, Hays, in care of the funeral chapel. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alberta Morris (Hays, Kansas), born in Limon, Colorado, who passed away on August 17, 2019, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her former husband Charlie Hindman; her husband Don Morris; her children, Charles Patrick "Chuck" Hindman of Hays and Tamie Hindman Wessel of Plainville; her siblings, Jim Potter and Pat Moeder; her step-children, Amanda Morris, Tami Sauseda (Joe), Claudia Parrott and Justin Morris (Larna); her grandchildren, Autumn and Alana Hindman; and her great grandchildren, Braelyn Hindman, Zeyahnna Hindman and Sylas Mitchell.
