Roswell A. St. Armour, 22, of Watertown, NY, born in Watertown, son of Felix St. Armour & Amelia Patanade AND Mary McGrath Bodine, 21, of Sackets Harbor, NY, born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, dau. of James McGrath & Katherine Lynch, were married 23 April 1921 in Sackets Harbor by J. R. McClure, Clergyman.

Mrs. Mary Bodine St. Amour, 68, wife of Roswell A. St. Amour, Oswego, a former resident of Watertown, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning after being suddenly stricken at her home. Mrs. St. Amour, who had been afflicted with a heart condition, was hurried by ambulance to the City hospital in Oswego, but was pronounced dead upon arrival. The funeral will be Saturday morning at 9:30 from the Dowdle funeral home and at 10 in St. Paul's Catholic church of Oswego. The body will be brought to Watertown for burial in Glenwood cemetery. Her husband, a former agent for the Railway Express Agency here, is critically ill in the Oswego hospital, where he has been a patient four weeks. Surviving, besides her husband, are four children, Roswell P. St. Amour, Syracuse, John V. St. Amour, Oswego, David St. Amour, Camillus, and Mrs. Homer (Kathryn S.) Marshall, 131 Bowers avenue; six grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Grayce V. Cask, Pasadena, Calif. Mrs. St. Amour was born in Sackets Harbor, a daughter of John M. and Katherine McGrath Bodine. Her father, who was superintendent of construction at Madison Barracks for more than 35 years, died in February, 1927, at Sackets Harbor. Her mother died in Battle Creek, Mich., Sept. 26, 1947. Mrs. St. Amour spent the early part of her life in Sackets Harbor. After her marriage to Mr. St. Amour, she had lived in this city. Mr. and Mrs. St. Amour moved to Oswego from Watertown in 1951, when he was transferred there by the Railway Express Agency. She was a member of St. Paul's church of Oswego and its Altar and Rosary society.

Roswell A. St. Amour, 70, of 49 East Mohawk street, Oswego, former resident of Watertown and retired employee of the Railway Express agency, died at 2:40 Sunday morning in the Mercy hospltal, where he had been a patient since Sept. 22. Death resulted from a stroke. The funeral will be Wednesday morning at 8:30 from Cleveland-McCallen funeral home and at 9 in the Holy Family church. Burial will be in Glenwood cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Surviving him are four children, Mrs. Kathryn S. Marshall, 131 Bowers avenue, R. Paul St. Amour, Syracuse, John V. St. Amour, Oswego, and David L. St. Amour, Liverpool; seven grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Lorene H. Valin, Erie, Pa., and Miss Florence M. St. Amour, Auburn. His wife, Mrs. Mary Bodine St. Amour, died, suddenly in Oswego last. Jan. 2 of a heart attack at the age of 68. He was a brother also, of the late William G. St. Amour, the late Miss Mabel H. St. Amour, the late Mrs. Roswell F. (Anna M.) MacMillan and the late Mrs. Maude A. MacDonald. Mr. St. Amour had been ill more than a year. He underwent a gall bladder operation Sept. 23 and the next day suffered the first of a series of strokes. He was a patient in the Oswego hospital when his wife died. Later, he was a patient in a nursing home in Syracuse, coming to this city in June. He was born in Watertown Sept. 30. 1898, a son of the late Felix B. and Amelia Patenaude St. Amour. His father was for years a watchmaker and jeweler here. Educated in the local public schools and the old Northern Business college. Mr. St. Amour was employed by the Railway Express Agency about 45 years. He was employed here until he was transferred to Oswego about 19 years ago. He retired about seven years ago. Mr. St. Amour married Miss Mary D. Bodine of Sackets Harbor in that village April 23, 1921. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic church of Oswego and of Watertown Council 259, K. of C.
